So, I am back in school beginning winter quarter. I would really like to finish up my degree, we'll see how it goes. I won't have Gary here during the week to help with the boys, the dogs, and the house.....sigh.
Classes should be interesting though - an earth science course on natural disasters and my second english which is a comparative studies course (minority religions in the US).
I will be applying formally to the college sometime in the next couple of months. I look at that application and it requests a resume of volunteering. Good grief, I work full-time and take ten credit hours per quarter (class 5 days a week). When am I supposed to volunteer?

This N That
I haven't posted anything in forever. Sorry to any/all who may read my ramblings.
The past year has been a constant pain in the rear - keeping the house "just so" on a daily basis in case we had a showing. Finally sold the house, then turned around and bought a condo. This gives us some flexibility while also ensuring that the boys have somewhere to live while finishing up school....til they are ready to fly from the nest:)
I miss my house:(
I actually like the condo. This surprised me. It isn't home yet, but we are getting there. I love not having to clean 3270 square feet! While there is still the daily clean up of dog hair, dirty dishes and laundry it is much easier to take care of. I do want to get things spruced up and painted, buy a dinette set for the eat-in kitchen, new window coverings for the dining and living rooms, a new couch, and get the patio redone.
When Gary and I are ready to retire it'll be fun to get the bathrooms and kitchen renovated.
As I sit here and type this, I realize that I haven't taken the first photo of the condo. I'll try to remember to do that and get them up here.
In the next few weeks I am going to get my resume updated and dip my toes into the job market in PA. Wish me luck!

Mikey and Great Aunt Lisa
Here is my very new "great nephew", Micheal Curtis Tobin.....Mikey for short.
I wish my Dad were here to see this - he would be thrilled. Baby and Mom are doing incredibly well and get to go home tomorrow.
I put in a plug for my babysitting services:) He is so beautiful. Wow....the memories that holding him brings back.
