Not a good day today. For the past two days I have driven myself into the ground to have the house ready for the realtors preview - and I am not exaggerating. My house sparkles!
Took a half-day at work so that I could run the sweeper one last time, put out water bottles and granola bars for the realtors, and get the dogs out during the open house. We were really hoping for some good feedback and interest from a collection of realtors. I took Matt to school and then drove around with the dogs for an hour and a half. Finally went home, but could find no sign that anyone had been there. Come to find out that our realtor emailed my work email address at 10:45 to let me know that it had been cancelled and he would try to reschedule for tomorrow. Not a phone call.....an email. Jeez. At that point I had wasted a half day of vacation, exhausted myself.....I very rarely even check my work email from home. What was he thinking?
Very frustrating morning.
